Mr. McCauley was hired to completely wire and install all switches, can lights, outlets (GFCI and regular) , HVAC hookup and a new fuse box for 900 sq.ft. of my basement being finished. I hope I like it. I have a condo in downtown Fayetteville, similar to Midtown. Not as big though. After experiencing an electrical problem that left me without electricity I called a chain electrician that advertises on TV constantly. They sent someone to my house immediately, but after hearing an outrageous quote, I called McCauley Electrical Services. Patrick was able to get to my house later that day, return some power to my house and came back the next morning and finished the job for less than 25% of what the chain electrician wanted. His prices are reasonable, he is very thorough, and is just a pleasure to work with. When mounting my TV, we discovered the wall studs were too far apart so Patrick was able to improvise a solution that worked great.

This is the second time we’ve hired Patrick to complete lighting and electrical work in our home. Patrick is incredibly punctual, knowledgeable, and professional. When he came out to give us an estimate he provided suggestions/options to improve our lighting plan. He turned the estimate around very quickly. The estimate was broken down by line item and included a good amount of detail to let us know specifically what we’d be getting for our money. The job took exactly the amount of time he projected and the cost matched the estimate. Patrick did a great job cleaning up after the job was over.
Once everything was complete, we realized we didn’t like the style of two of the can lights. Without hesitation, Patrick came out the next day at no charge to replace them with something we liked much better. We’ve been very pleased with McCauley electric both times we’ve hired them and would hire them again. They are a very good value for the money.

We are very pleased with Patrick’s work (he has done 4 different projects for us and we feel he has done a wonderful job on each). Those jobs began with the removal of knob and tube wiring and most recently he designed and installed multiple lighting features in our rec room. The work was done exceptionally well. My only complaint is that he did not repair the small holes he made in the drywall – which were necessary to install the can lights and speakers.
Patrick does very well with our dogs and we feel comfortable enough for Patrick to work in the home without us being there.
The project went very well – from scheduling (he was very flexible and worked with our availability). The project was completed in the proposed time and was completed on budget.
